Oshun - Goddess of Love
This act is dedicated to the Voodoo and fresh water goddess Oshun, the deity of love, fertility and beauty. In the african-brazilian Voodoo culture she also embodies joy, luxury and wealth.
She is always represented as a flirty and charming character, who likes to laugh and mesmerizes people with her dance and movements.
With this act Noéline wants to show that Voodoo isn´t always dark and sinister but has different aspects; which is why she made a very cheerful and cheeky performance out of it. It combines Bump n Grind, Jazz Dance as well as traditional and modern African Dance moves.
Starting with a slow and mysterious entrance and veil dance, the routine turns into more of a dance performance accompanied by a famous nigerian pop song.
